Get ready to meet the new Iphones

Apple has sent out invitations to a “special event” scheduled for 10:00 am PST on September 12 of 2018 to select members of the press (and no, we were not invited).

Apple rumors to launch on this event:
  • Three new iPhone models, each resembling the iPhone X in appearance, and available in three screen sizes: 5.8″, 6.1″, and 6.5″
  • Possible updates to iPad Pro hardware, likely losing the Home button
  • Possible updates to MacBook hardware (but not the MacBook Pro)
  • Possibly an updated Mac Mini
  • Possibly an updated Apple Watch
  • An official release date for iOS 12
  • An official release date for mac OS Mojave

AMAZON COULD CHALLENGE THE $10 BILLION DOLLAR CLOUD COMPUTING DEAL:

If Amazon.com decides to fight the Pentagon's decision to award a highly contested $10 billion (£7.78 billion) cloud computing contract to Microsoft, it could act as early as next week. A challenge to the Defense Department's award announced Friday is widely expected by legal experts, analysts and consultants, especially after President Donald Trump publicly derided Amazon's bid for the high-stakes contract. In a statement, Amazon Web Services said it was "surprised about this conclusion." A person familiar with the matter told Reuters the company is considering options for protesting the award. The company did not respond to requests for comment on its next steps.
